Updated Betting Odds To Win 2020 Masters

The 2020 Masters Tournament will hold its 84th edition, and it will be held from April 9–12 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Ga. In 2019, we witnessed a change of scenery and a throwback at the same time. Tiger Woods proved that he could still win, and the younger generation of golfers still need to work on their game.

Top 10 Players By Golf Ranking

This is a unique list that I like to include to compare and contrast each player for the Masters Tournament betting and how they stack up to the rest of the competition. Only the best of the best get to play at this tournament, so it is important to distinguish how these golfers have played throughout the year.

These golfers have played consistently well enough to make the top 10 in the official world golf ranking list. I like to view this as a starting point for looking at the Masters Tournament odds.

The top 10 currently are:

  1. Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland)
  2. Brooks Koepka (USA)
  3. Jon Rahm (Spain)
  4. Justin Thomas (USA)
  5. Dustin Johnson (USA)
  6. Patrick Cantlay (USA)
  7. Adam Scott (Australia)
  8. Webb Simpson (USA)
  9. Tiger Woods (USA)
  10. Xander Schauffele (USA)

Top Five Golfers That Could Win

Brooks Koepka: Koepka is currently the second-best golfer according to the rankings. He held the number one spot for quite some time before Rory Mcllroy came roaring back. Koepka dominated 2019 with nine top 10 finishes and came in a three-way tie for second place at the Masters last year.

Rory Mcllroy: Mcllroy is the best golfer in the rankings and rightfully so. He had arguably the best 2019 season out of any golfer and is off to a strong start this year. However, in the 2019 Masters Tournament, he tied for 21st.

Tiger Woods: If you see this man still swinging a golf club, you have to count him too. He is the returning champion to this event and looking to repeat to tie Jack Nicklaus for six all-time Masters Tournament wins. Woods is a little difficult to gauge on his health since he has been picking and choosing his tournaments wisely to conserve his back.

Adam Scott: Scott is on the rise this year, moving up to seventh best golfer in the world. He had an impressive 2019 and is looking to gain momentum in 2020. In the 2019 Masters, he tied for 18th place.

Webb Simpson: Simpson has also moved his way up into the top 10 rankings, coming in currently at eight. He had a great 2019, but his 2020 season is off to a better start. In his 2019 Masters play, he tied for fifth place.

Who Gets The Green Jacket?

The 2020 Masters is one of golf’s prestigious tournaments. Winning the tournament will have your name cemented in a golf legacy among other great golfers. With all of the competition out there, the golfer with the best odds to win could be Brooks Koepka.

Koepka is chasing that number one spot and looking to become a dominant golfer for the next decade. A win at the Masters will definitely be all he needs to make that claim.
