The National Football League has reached Week 10 of the season. The postseason race is getting interesting, and teams have played half or more of their games. There are some interesting teams currently in line for the postseason, and some teams that were projected to be going to the postseason that are on the outside looking in. It should be an interesting final two months of the season. Let’s take a look at a few of our favorite National Football League games for Week 10 of the season:
Seattle Seahawks -5.5 over Arizona Cardinals
The Thursday Night Football game will feature a pair of NFC West teams. The Seahawks are coming off the loss to the Redskins, while Arizona picked up a big win over San Francisco. Look for Russell Wilson to have a solid game, as the Seahawks take advantage of a pretty weak Arizona defense, and the Seahawks defense slows down a Drew Stanton led 49ers quarterback.
Detroit Lions -12 over Cleveland Browns
The Lions have all the momentum with their Monday Night Football win over the Cleveland Browns. The Detroit Lions have been able to pass the football all over the field. Now, they go up against a pretty poor Cleveland team. Not only are the Cleveland Browns poor, they are the worst team in the league. The Lions blowout the Cleveland Browns in this game, and it will not be pretty.
Pittsburgh Steelers -10 over Indianapolis Colts
In the blow-out of the week – Big Ben, Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown are going to torch the Indianapolis Colts defense. The Colts are coming off a win, and this is going to be the letdown game. The Colts are one of the worst defensive teams in all of the league. Look for Pittsburgh to get over some of their road woes against a poor Indianapolis team.
Jacksonville Jaguars -3 over Los Angeles Chargers
The Jacksonville Jaguars will get Leonard Fournette back in this game. That’s a big lift for a team that continues to play well. The Jaguars are leading the division. The Jaguars are lucky to not have seen their top defensive player Jalen Ramsey hit with a suspension. While this will be a tough one, the Jaguars are going to win this game. Take the Jaguars at home in a nice game against the Chargers.
Washington Redskins +1 over Minnesota Vikings
The Washington Redskins won the biggest game of Week 9. Going on the road and winning in Seattle was impressive. Now, the Redskins are at home against the NFC North leading Vikings. Too many injuries for the Vikings, and the Redskins are playing good football. Look for the Redskins to win this game at home, and keep pace with the NFC for a postseason spot.
Los Angeles Rams -11 over Houston Texans
The Los Angeles Rams just completely dismantled the New York Giants last week, and are now ready to do the same thing to the Houston Texans. The Texans defense has not been very good, and now Jared Goff and Todd Gurley get to pick them apart. This game won’t be close from the start to the finish. Take the Rams by double digits.
San Francisco 49ers +3 over New York Giants
Two of the worst teams in all of the National Football League will get together….. And —– the 49ers are going to win their first game of the season. The 49ers are going to get the Giants in a bad time, where they are playing really bad football. New York just got completely hammered last week by the Rams, and the streak is going to continue. Look for the 49ers defense to get all over Eli Manning and cause turnovers. Take the 49ers over the Giants.
New England Patriots -8 over Denver Broncos
The Sunday Night Football game was projected to be a great one when the schedule came out. But, injuries to Denver, and downright bad play has this game looking at a complete blowout. The Patriots are playing great football right now, and are priming themselves for another trip to the Super Bowl. Look for Tom Brady to do much of what Carson Wentz did and roll through the Denver defense. The Patriots win this game big.
