NFL Trade Deadline Makes For Interesting Week 9 Battles

The National Football League trade deadline came and went, and unlikely other years, there was a nice amount of moves made this season. A few nice names were moved, including Jimmy Garrapolo to the San Francisco 49ers, Jay Ajayi to the Eagles and Kelvin Benjamin went from the Panthers to the Buffalo Bills. It will be interesting to see what happens in the final weeks of the season. Week 9 is here, and there are some great games to bet on. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite Week 9 affairs:

BET ON WEEK 9 AT PADDY POWER

New York Jets +3.5 over Buffalo Bills

The New York Jets are just on the outside looking in at a few games on their recent schedule. The first time these two teams played, it was a low scoring slug fest. Look for both teams to get back on track offensively with a few more points in this time. The Bills have won four out of their last five games. Look for the Jets to snap that with some solid late defense, and the ability to pass the football. The Jets pull an upset to start the Week 9 schedule in the National Football League.

Carolina Panthers -1 over Atlanta Falcons

This is a big game in the NFC South. The Carolina Panthers are coming off the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. Cam Newton still was not super in that game, but got the job done. Atlanta is also coming off a win, so both teams are looking to keep things rolling. Both the Falcons and the Panthers are chasing after the Saints in the divisional race. Look for Newton to come away with a big game that leads the Panthers to  a high scoring win over the Falcons. Just a single point favorite, take the Panthers on Sunday.

NFL Week 2 2017

Houston Texans -13 over Indianapolis Colts

Blowout city in this game on Sunday. The Houston Texans are at home, and coming off a crushing loss in Seattle. DeSean Watson was fantastic, and now he gets a Colts defense that has allowed the most points in all of the National Football League. The Colts are a mess right now, and probably better suited just to lose out and settle for the 3rd pick in the draft. This could be an ugly football game, with the Texans coming away with a monster home win over the Colts.

New York Giants +4 over Los Angeles Rams NFL Bets

Don’t ask us how – but the New York Giants are going to beat the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The defense of the Giants has us intrigued, and the Giants have seen plenty of Sean McVay’s offense in the past several seasons. The run game for the New York Giants is starting to come together as well. Look for the Giants to force Jared Goff to beat them, and it’s likely to not going to happen. The Giants beat the Rams in a NFL upset on Sunday.

Arizona Cardinals -2 over San Francisco 49ers

Many are picking the San Francisco 49ers to win their first game of the season, but just not seeing it happen. The 49ers are a hot mess express, and at least Arizona still has some legitimate threats. Who for the 49ers is going to beat the Cardinals? Look for more of the same from the winless 49ers, and Bruce Arians and the Cardinals pick up a much needed win in this game.

Dallas Cowboys -1 over Kansas City Chiefs

No Ezekiel Elliott for the Cowboys, no problem. Sure, Kansas City has been an elite team in the league thus far, but this game has Dallas written all over it. Dak Prescott is due for a huge game, and against a shaky Kansas City pass defense, this seems to be the right spot. Look for Dallas to send a notice to the rest of the league that no matter if they have their running back or not- they are a true NFL contender.

Miami Dolphins +3.5 over Oakland Raiders

This game is in South Beach, between two very disappointing football teams. The Raiders are 3-5 on the season, while the Dolphins are 4-3. Miami traded their best offensive threat in Jay Ayayi, and will likely have Matt Moore as their starting quarterback. The last time Moore started was on Thursday Night Football and the Ravens beat them 40-0. Look for a much better Moore in this game, and with the trade the Miami run game looks refreshed. The Dolphins pull the Sunday Night Football upset.

There is a look at some of the games we love in the National Football League for Week 9.  We love the slate of games, but are ready to only bet on a few of them. Enjoy the action on the field. We hope you have a great football weekend! Best of luck with all your US sports betting.
