Enjoy These Three Top Fivefold Soccer Accas With Paddy Power’s Acca Insurance Offer

We haven’t really focused much on Paddy Power, one of our affiliated sites, as we’ve been mainly looking at sports betting offers available with other providers, but with a busy week of football betting ahead in particular, across three top competitions, it’s a perfect time to take a look at Paddy Power’s Acca Insurance offer.

With this offer, you can place a fivefold accumulator bet on the Home/Draw/Away (sometimes called Match Result) market with Paddy Power from a wide selection of soccer matches across many different professional competitions. So long as your bet has a total of at least five selections in it with no selection on your slip of odds shorter than 1/5, then you will qualify for their Acca Insurance offer.

This offer means that if one leg of your accumulator bet lets you down, then Paddy Power will refund your stake up to £50 per customer in full, as a free bet. If you stake more than £50, then the maximum refund you will get back is £50.

This is a decent offer from Paddy Power and in truth, the site is one of the best to place accumulators at due to the different options they have to place these bets. You can of course make your selections in the usual way, but you can also use a number of options which will create an accumulator bet for you based on either five home wins, five draws or five away wins, or you can simply state the odds you wish your accumulator to bet and the software will put together a coupon for you.

However, I much prefer to put together my own accumulator bets using the accumulated knowledge I have gained over the years as a football fan, as well as a little research into each of the teams playing.

With that in mind, I have put together three fivefold accumulator bets for the rest of this week. The first for the Champions League on Tuesday and Wednesday, the second for the Europa League on Thursday and lastly for the Premier League taking place mainly on Saturday and Sunday.

Let’s begin immediately with the Champions League accumulator.

Champions League Fivefold – Tuesday 21st & Wednesday 22nd November

There’s sixteen games across two nights of Champions League action this week and what I have done is put together the five best options I believe from both nights into a single accumulator bet that you can use with Paddy Power’s Acca Insurance offer.

The selections for this first accumulator of the week are as follows:

  • Besiktas v FC Porto – Home Win
  • Monaco v Red Bull Leipzig – Draw
  • Sevilla v Liverpool – Draw
  • FK Qarabag v Chelsea – Away Win
  • Juventus v Barcelona – Draw

Given that there are three draws included in this bet, this is a longer odds selection and with Paddy Power you can get odds of 171.32/1 against this accumulator bet.

That said I think it is a solid choice. Besiktas have been excellent in the competition this year whereas Porto are not the side they once were, I also fancy Chelsea’s counter attacking skills and pace to be decisive away against a Qarabag side that are decent at the back but have little to offer going forward. All the remaining games are all very close games and with this being at a crucial stage of the competition, teams will play a little tighter than normal and that tends to produce more drawn games and I think in all three cases here, a draw is a very solid choice.

Given the longer odds of this bet, I would strongly advise wagering a smaller amount of money on this bet than you would an accumulator of considerably shorter odds.

Europa League Fivefold – Thursday 23rd November

There’s a total of 24 Europa League games to enjoy on Thursday night and there are surprisingly few teams who have either confirmed their place in the next phase, or who have been eliminated from the tournament already. That means in most games, teams have plenty to play for and as such, I think it will be a time when teams want to play their best and get the key results they need to earn qualification.

As a result, I’ve picked the following fivefold from Thursday night’s selection of games

  • FK Astana v Villarreal – Draw
  • FC Koln v Arsenal – Away Win
  • Ostersund v Zorya Luhansk – Home Win
  • Rosenborg v Real Sociedad – Away Win
  • Everton v Atalanta – Away Win

This bet is currently available at Paddy Power as a 58/1 accumulator bet, which means a £10 stake would return £580 and if one team lets you down, their Acca Insurance offer would at least mean you get your stake back as a free bet.

This is a decent selection, Villarreal don’t travel well but are a markedly better side than Astana but the Kazakh side have been in decent form at home and I think a draw is a good choice here. Arsenal, Real Sociedad and Atalanta I believe are all good prices for away wins, while Ostersund have been superb this season in Europe and should get the job done at home to Zorya.

Premier League Fivefold – Friday 24, Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th November

There’s a busy weekend ahead of Premier League action from Friday to Sunday with all 20 teams in action across the three days. The full fixture list is outlined below (kick off is 3pm Saturday unless stated).

  • West Ham v Leicester City (8pm Fri)
  • Crystal Palace v Stoke City
  • Swansea City v Bournemouth
  • Tottenham v West Brom
  • Newcastle v Watford
  • Man Utd v Brighton
  • Liverpool v Chelsea (5.30pm Sat)
  • Southampton v Everton (1.30pm Sun)
  • Burnley v Arsenal (2pm Sun)
  • Huddersfield v Man City (4pm Sun)

Having taken a closer look at all these fixtures, I have come up with the following selections for my Premier League accumulator:

  • West Ham Utd v Leicester City – Draw
  • Newcastle Utd v Watford – Away Win
  • Liverpool v Chelsea – Draw
  • Southampton v Everton – Home Win
  • Burnley v Arsenal – Away Win

This accumulator would return at odds of 115.12/1 and again, as a longer-odds bet I would suggest wagering only a small amount on this bet.

That said, I do feel there is a good chance of success. West Ham need a result and with a new manager in place, he will want a strong performance at home. Leicester City have looked better under Claude Puel too but this is likely to be a hard-fought game and I think the Hammers will scrape a point here. I think Liverpool and Chelsea is a nailed-on draw given the form of both sides and Liverpool’s home and Chelsea’s away record while Arsenal look solid odds to beat Burnley. Southampton should beat an Everton side who are struggling for form still while I fancy Watford to cause a big surprise and win away at Newcastle against a team who have lost their last three games.
